Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1285
“No, no, no! “ Aura immediately tried to deny everything. She was so agitated that tears started streaming down her face. “How can you suspect me, Joshua? I’m really…“
She bit down on her lip nervously. Her face was already red from the crying, and it made her look exceptionally pitiful. “I was just afraid that the children wouldn’t be able to see Luna for the last time…“
She lowered her head and continued in a sobbing voice, “If I had known there was only one car—one that had broken brake cables—left at Lynch Mansion, I wouldn’t have asked them to come in the first place! “
She turned and shot Nigel and Nellie an aggrieved look as she said, “It’s all Aunty Aura’s fault. Can you forgive me?“
Nigel narrowed his eyes and turned to glance at Joshua.
He knew that Joshua had no intention of punishing Aura for this. Even though he felt a little displeased by this, he still knew that there were reasons as to
why adults choose to do certain things.
Therefore, he stopped Nellie, who was just about to reprimand Aura, and glanced at Aura, smiling. “Since Aunty Aura didn’t do this on purpose, of course we have to forgive you! “
With that, Nigel blinked innocently and fixated his big, dark eyes on Aura. “But please remember to think things through before you do anything in the future, Aunty Aura!
“If everything you did just so happened to coincide with what bad people do, then even if we choose to forgive you, Daddy will eventually start to think this isn’t all just a coincidence! “
Nigel let out an exhale and added, “Alright then. Let’s not disturb Daddy and Aunty Aura anymore. We’re going upstairs to see Mommy now! “
With that, he grabbed onto Nellie with one hand and Bonnie with the other and strode in the direction of the elevator.
Bonnie furrowed her brows at this. As she stepped foot onto the elevator, she could not stop herself from letting go of Nigel’s hand and storming toward Joshua.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
