Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1371
When Luna arrived at Cold Jazz Restaurant, Joshua and his business partner had already entered the private booth to start their business discussion.
Luna peeked into the room from the entrance.
She and Joshua had only been separated for a day, yet she missed him as though they had been apart for a century. At this moment, Joshua was sitting at the head of the table elegantly with his back facing Luna while he conducted the business meeting.
Every word that came out of Joshua’s mouth sounded frightening to others. Even though there was a door between them, Luna could still sense his strong and commandeering aura that made the entire atmosphere feel suffocating.
Luna had always found this personality trait of Joshua attractive.
“Luna?” All of a sudden, a soft voice rang out from behind her.
Luna frowned and turned around.
A woman dressed in a waiter’s uniform was standing behind her. Luna recognized her as a parent whose child also had leukemia, like Nigel—her name was Sylvia Watson.
“It really is you. ” Sylvia was excited to see Luna, and she pulled Luna to a corner. “Didn’t you leave Merchant City because of Nigel? Why did you come back here now? How is Nigel doing?”
Luna’s mind was still on Joshua, so she gave Sylvia a brief explanation of Nigel’s recovery.
Sylvia could not help lamenting, ”Who would’ve thought Nigel, who had such a rare blood type, managed to find a donor and underwent a successful transplant. In that case, I believe my child Sheldon will be fine, too…”
With that, Sylvia noticed that Luna was distracted as she kept glancing into the private booth and whispered, “Are you…interested in the people inside?
Luna immediately came to and nodded.
She wanted to see Joshua to make sure he would not stay mad at the Quinn family, but on top of that…he came all the way to Merchant City to find her. The least she could do was thank him for this.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
