Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1474
“Since good things come in pairs, why don’t you announce your engagement to him at the ceremony itself?“
Charles’ palms were warm and rough.
Luna furrowed her brows and lowered her head to glance at Charles with an expressionless look. “Are you so desperate to marry me off to another man as soon as I return?“
Charles froze for a moment, then quickly shook his head. “No, no, it’s just an engagement! You can postpone the wedding for as long as you like! “
Luna curled her lips into a smile and replied, “Well, since we’re not going to get married anytime soon anyway, we don’t need to get engaged so soon.“
With that, she let out an exhale, stood up, and went out the door.
To her surprise, the first thing she saw when she opened the door was Malcolm, sitting in his wheelchair. He fixated his warm gaze on Luna’s face and said, “You’re still waiting on Joshua, aren’t you?“
There was a hint of bitterness and desperation on Malcolm’s face as he said, “When you told me you wanted to postpone the engagement, I thought a month would be long enough, but…“
He lowered his head to glance at his legs. “You don’t want to marry me because I’m a cripple, right?“
Luna clenched her fists by her side and bit her lip, staring at Malcolm coldly. “I’ve never had that in my mind at all. All I’m thinking is that I need to consider this marriage properly before I commit to you.“
“What is there to consider?“ Charles chased after Luna and frowned when he heard this. “Luna, Malcolm has saved your life in the past, and he treats you well. If you don’t mind that he’s paralyzed… what are you unhappy about?“
Luna closed her eyes and let out an exhale.
A split second later, she opened her eyes and gazed at Malcolm’s face. “Malcolm, I think you know the reason I’m hesitating.
“I always thought you were gentle and honest to me and have never hidden the truth from me at all, but A glimmer of malice flashed through Luna’s eyes. “Do you want me to tell everyone that you lured me to Lucky Den with a counterfeit product to see me?“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
