Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1493
The entire room fell into silence.
Malcolm frowned, glancing at the dried herb in Christopher’s bag.
Was this the herb that had cured Rosalyn? He had no recollection at all.
When the herb was delivered to him, he had given it only a quick glimpse before sending it to Christopher, so how could he recall what it looked like?
“Of course I remember.” Malcolm smiled even though he had no memory of seeing this herb before. “This was the medicine that I had brought to cure you, Mrs. Landry, so how can I forget?”
Christopher could not help curling his lips into a smirk when he heard this. “Master Quinn has an excellent memory.”
With that, he turned and glanced at Rosalyn, who was leaning against her headboard.
Her expression was dark. She pursed her lips and asked, “Malcolm…are you sure you remember?”
Malcolm curled his lips into a smile. “Of course. I had specially sent my men overseas to bring this back, so of course I remember.”
Rosalyn stared at the dried herb for a moment before finally saying, “But this isn’t the Clinging Root at all; it’s just a bunch of dried grass.”
Everyone in the room fell silent upon hearing this.
Malcolm glared at the dried herb so hard that it was as though his eyes would fall out of his head. A split second later, he lifted his head and smiled calmly at Christopher. “I’m just playing along with Dr. Christopher’s act.
“After all, he’s already using this tactic to challenge my memory, so how can I not go along with it?”
There was not a hint of nervousness on his face, as though he had really been playing along with Christopher’s teasing all this while.
However, his tight grip on his wheelchair armrests betrayed him.
Luna could tell that he was indeed nervous.
He really could not recognize the dried herb at all, as opposed to what he claimed.
Luna narrowed her eyes. Since Malcolm himself was not familiar with what the Clinging Root looked like, how could he have ordered his men to find it and managed to find the right herb in the end?
Had his men stumbled upon the Clinging Root by accident?

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
