Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1528
Was Jim planning to give up on the family business that had been passed down through the generations?
Jim could see through Luna’s thoughts. He curled his lips and replied impassively, “Did you somehow forget that there’s another daughter of the Landry family?“
With that, he shifted into a more comfortable position on his seat and continued, “I carry the Lynch bloodline within my veins, and you carry a baby belonging to Joshua in your belly, so of course Father would detest both of us, now that Mother isn’t here to protect us.
“At a moment like this, Heather would be able to rise to power…and the future Landry Group will probably be named Gibson Group instead.“
With that, Jim reached out to close Luna’s door and said, “Go back and get some rest.“
The car pulled out of the driveway.
Luna remained motionless and bit her lip as she watched the car drive away.
Heather…
She was unwilling to believe that Heather would think of herself as a Landry, nor would she be able to run Landry Group smoothly.
Luna let out an exhale and returned to the mansion. Laying on her bed, she stared up at the ceiling and
could not help recalling Rosalyn’s kind face.
She had clutched Luna’s hand, telling her that she had sacrificed everything for Landry Group.
In the past, Charles had been so devastated by both Lucy and Colin’s deaths that he spiraled into mental insanity and had no way of running Landry Group.
Therefore, Rosalyn, who was pregnant at that time, was forced to formulate drugs to keep Charles’ nervous system and mental state under control while at the same time running the day-to-day of Landry Group.
There were a few occasions when Landry Group had almost been bankrupted by Lynch Group.
Every time, Rosalyn had to visit the people who could help Landry Group one -by-one and beg for their help, all while being heavily pregnant…

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
