“I’ll go and open the door.“ The frowning Neil put down his fork and spoon, his small body jumping down from his chair and strode to the door.
“Who is it?”
“It’s me, “ came a little girl’s child—like voice outside the door. “Neil, it’s me, Nellie! I went to Godmother’s house, and she said the two of you didn’t go back last night, so I came here. I didn’t expect to find you and Mommy here! Quick, open the door! “
Hearing his sister’s voice, Neil grew excited. He immediately opened the door and spread his arms open. “Nellie! “
Outside the door stood Nellie, dressed in her usual princess-style dress, and Lily.
She saw her brother spreading his arms open in her direction, but she did not hug him.
She sniffed. “Something smells so good! “
The little girl walked past Neil and strode into the apartment. “Are you guys eating breakfast? Did you prepare some for me?“
“No.“ Neil returned to the dining table as he sulked and sat down to resume his breakfast.
The little girl sat pitifully at the other end of the dining table, resting her face in her hands. A pair of big, clear eyes stared at Neil’s breakfast unblinkingly. “It must be delicious, right?“
Neil and Luna exchanged helpless glances.
A moment later, the little guy went to the kitchen and fetched a plate to divide a portion of his food and placed it in front of his sister. “Go on. Don’t say I tortured you.“
“Haha! “ Nellie lifted her fork and spoon excitedly, “ Neil, you’re the best! “

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
