Nellie pursed her lips. “Mommy, a long time has passed since Daddy saved you from the fire, right? his wounds healed a long time ago, right? He couldn’t have knocked into his wounds so easily, to the extent where he would have to be admitted into the hospital, right?“
As she said these words, the little girl studied Luna’s expressions through the corners of her eyes. “I think the servants are saying that on purpose as an excuse for Daddy to not eat breakfast with me.“
Luna frowned as she placed her empty plate on the table. “May be.“
She then stretched lazily, turned, and sat on the sofa to play with her phone. It seemed like the news that Joshua was admitted into the hospital did not affect her much.
Nellie furrowed her brows as she bit her lip silently.
In truth, she did not come to them because she did not have breakfast at home. She thought that Mommy would be nervous knowing that Daddy was i n the hospital. After all, every time Daddy was admitted into the hospital, Mommy would be very anxious.
It seemed, however…
“Just eat.“ Neil glanced at his sister carelessly. “ Don’t poke your adult into adult matters.“
Nellie bit her lip before she lowered her head in disappointment and continued eating her breakfast. She did not stay for long after that.
Even though Joshua was in the hospital, Adrian was still waiting for her to return from her breakfast. She could not waste too much time outside.
Looking at Nellie’s retreating back, Neil pursed his lips silently and muttered, “Shallow girl; always attracted by his appearance and forgetting her true purpose.“
Luna smiled. “Don’t blame her. Joshua is quite nice to her, actually.“
“I don’t think so.“ Neil collected the dirty dishes and brought them to the kitchen.
Amid the flow of water, the little boy washed the dishes and coldly remarked, “If he truly is nice to Nellie, he’d get Aura Gibson arrested, not send her to study abroad in Australia.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
