Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1574
“After all, if you didn’t have the heart to manage the family’s business, you wouldn’t be good at it anyway, but now, I just need you to put on an act and attend Malcolm and Heather’s wedding and give them your blessings. Are you even unwilling to do just that?”
The more Charles spoke, the angrier he got. “I must’ve spoiled you too much!”
Luna curled her lips into a smirk. “Since Heather and I are so different and you are so disappointed in me, Mr. Landry… Why did you even insist that I return to the family? Why did you force me to swear that I’d never see Joshua again?”
She elegantly set down her cutlery and continued, “I thought that you had done all that because you truly liked me and wanted to treat me like a real daughter, but I guess…”
She sneered. “I guess the reason you wanted me to come back…was because my identity at that time was both Joshua Lynch’s ex-wife and Malcolm Quinn’s fiancée, huh?
“At that time, I was truly useful to the Landry family, but now that I have lost my value, you think I’m useless, don’t you, Mr. Landry?”
Charles could feel his blood pressure rising as soon as he heard this. His entire face turned scarlet with anger. “Luna! How dare you even say that? You’re my biological daughter, and no matter what you do, I’ll still want you to return to the family and return to your roots!”
However, during this year, apart from taking care of Rosalyn and the baby that belonged to her and Joshua, Luna had not done anything else for the family.
In contrast, Heather, the adopted daughter, had helped take care of Landry Group’s affairs after numerous times of the company almost collapsing due to Joshua’s attacks.
The contrast between the two daughters was too striking to ignore.
It was impossible for Charles not to compare the two of them, and it was impossible for him not to be biased toward one of them.
Inside the small room in the corner of the yard, Heather watched the two of them arguing through the glass window.
One of them was so angry that his face turned red, while the other gripped her cutlery tightly in her hand out of fury.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
