Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1588
Pain, anger, resentment…
All these emotions surged into Heather’s heart. She bit her lip and stormed forward, putting her body in between Malcolm and Luna. “Luna, if you don’t believe me, then think back about what happened in the past. What did the wounds on your face look like? Can a car accident even cause injuries like that?
“Don’t you have a friend who’s a plastic surgeon? Go ask her! You’ll understand everything as soon as you ask her!”
“Heather Landry, are you insane?” Malcolm lunged forward and clapped his hand over Heather’s mouth in alarm.
At the same time, he lifted his head to shoot Luna an apologetic glance. “Heather is suffering from postpartum depression, so please don’t believe all the nonsense she says.”
Luna remained motionless and forced out a smile.
A split second later, she lifted her head to stare at Malcolm. “Why?”
Why did he ruin her looks and force her to get plastic surgery?
Was it because her old face was too ugly?
Luna had never been ugly at all. Even if she was, that was her face, and Malcolm had no right to destroy it and reconstruct a new one for her!
Not only that, but Luna had suffered greatly throughout the process of getting plastic surgery!
In the past, Luna thought that the car accident had scarred her face so severely that she could not live like a normal human being anymore, which was why she had so desperately tried to undergo plastic surgery.
She was more than grateful for Malcol m’s hel p in paying off the medical bills for her surgery, and even after she recovered, she had worked tremendously hard to pay off the debt she owed him.
Luna had always felt indebted to Malcolm, but at this moment…
All of this was just a joke.
Malcol m was the one who had destroyed her face in the first place.
“It was probably because you used to look exactly like Mrs. Landry.”
Suddenly, a low, male voice interrupted the silence in the hallway.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
