Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy by Inked Snow Chapter 1638
Joshua was acting coldly toward her and even told her to bring the food home and eat it herself.
No matter how oblivious Cheryl was, she knew she had misunderstood Joshua’s intentions.
However, she did not want to give up on this opportunity.
Therefore, she let out an exhale and said, trying to counter Joshua’s domineering aura, “President Lynch, you told me to buy two portions of food, and I… I can’t finish it myself. Can you…”
“You can share it with your friend or throw it away if you want.” Joshua reached out to pick up the newspaper from the table and added, “Take the trash out when you leave as well.”
Cheryl’s fingers curled tightly around the handle of the takeaway bag. “Alright then…I’ll be off now. Take care, President Lynch.”
With that, she glanced at Joshua once more with a look of reluctance.
At this moment, he was reading the newspaper, his legs crossed elegantly.
This man was attractive no matter which angle one looked at him, but despite being his secretary for six months, she had no opportunity to get closer to him at all.
Cheryl left the house angrily.
As soon as he heard the door close behind her, Joshua put down the newspaper and picked up his phone. “Transfer Cheryl to another department.”
Lucas froze when he heard this. “But why, Sir? Cheryl is the secretary that has been with you the longest over the last six months. She’s kind, considerate, and intelligent…”
Joshua narrowed his eyes and replied impassively, “She made Luna jealous.”
Lucas fell silent upon hearing this. A split second later, he let out a cough and said, “My suggestion is that…you shouldn’t transfer Cheryl away.
“If Ma’am is jealous of her, it means that she still cares about you, and maybe Cheryl’s presence can make her return to your side sooner…”
Joshua narrowed his eyes and sneered. “Do you think that after what happened between Luna and me, I need a strange woman to reassert my position in Luna’s heart?

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
