Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy by Inked Snow Chapter 1640
“She had appeared just at the right time, so I got into a fight with her so that I’d be brought to the police station where you can take me home.”
Jim stared at her with a dubious look. “Is that true?” Luna reached into her pocket. “Of course it is.”
As soon as she finished her sentence, she felt something in her pocket.
She pulled her hand out and realized it was a stack of brand-new dollar bills.
Jim glanced at the stack of money in Luna’s hand meaningfully and remarked, “You said you deliberately got into a fight so that you’d be sent to the police station because you didn’t have money with you?”
Luna furrowed her brows and suddenly realized she could not explain herself anymore.
However…
She had not checked her pocket at all, since knowing this was a brand-new dress, she thought that there would not be anything in the pockets.
Luna never expected Joshua to be this considerate and detail-oriented to prepare money for her.
As soon as she thought of this, she turned to glance out the window.
The girl named Cheryl had been bailed out as well, and the person who had come to pick her up was Lucas.
Luna could tell even from her distance that Lucas was scolding Cheryl, whose head was lowered in shame.
She curled her lips into a smirk and leaned against the backseat in good spirits. “Take me home, Jim.”
Lucas was a very respectful person, and Luna knew that if Cheryl were really Joshua’s girlfriend, he would never dare to scold her like this.
Jim glanced at Luna with an exasperated look through the rearview mirror and started the engine.
Unbeknownst to both Luna and Jim…
A reporter had taken photos of the two of them coming out of the police station and posted them online.
Everyone who saw the photos immediately began to wonder what Luna and Jim were doing at the police station so early in the morning.
“Could they have gone to report a crime? I hear that there have been some shootings in the area where Ms. Luna lives lately…”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
