Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy by Inked Snow Chapter 1691
Joshua’s car peeled off into the distance.
Charles was so angry that he could not stop patting his chest in frustration as he watched the black Masevati disappear into the distance.
It turned out that Joshua Lynch was just as cruel as his late grandmother.
Luna was the woman that had loved him for many years and had borne four child ren for him, even though one had died at birth.
Truth be told, even as Luna’s family, they had to admit that they did not know Luna as well as Joshua did, but at this point, not only was he unwilling to help clear Luna’s name, he had even threatened to let her stay in jail because of her recent appointment as CEO!
“Father.” Jim immediately rushed over to gently pat Charles ‘ back. “Don’t be so upset; we can think of another plan.”
Charles gazed up at the sky and replied, “It’s now midnight, and there are only a few hours left until morning comes.
“The person who died was Joshua’s employee, so how can we get Luna out of jail before daylight comes without his help?”
What would happen at the shareholders’ meeting the next day if Luna was still in jail?
She was the CEO and chairman of the board of Landry Group!
If the news of her being imprisoned were to get out…the consequences would be dire!
“We have to take this a step at a time.” Jim let out an exhale. “I will go by myself to the shareholders’ meeting tomorrow.
“I’m familiar with all the members of the board, and truth be told, as vice president, I’m far more experienced than the new president of Landry Group.
“At the meeting tomorrow, I’ll announce that Luna is sick and try to hide this from them.
“After the meeting ends, I’ll come to find Luna and get her to sign the papers to transfer the rights of the money to me so that I can utilize it.
“After Landry Group’s financial situation improves, none of the shareholders will care about why Luna didn’t show up to the meeting anymore.”
Charles let out a sigh upon hearing this. This was the best plan they had.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
