Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy by Inked Snow Chapter 1694
Jim strode into the lobby and frowned, glancing at the hallway as he signed the visitation forms to visit Luna. ” Why are they crying so early in the morning?”
The policeman let out a sigh and replied in a low voice, ” They’re the family members of the murder victim which your sister is involved in, and they just got in this morning.
“I hear that she was the only child and had always been the pride of the family. Both her parents are old now and no longer in the best health. Who would’ve thought that…”
The policeman sighed again. “What a pity.”
Jim’s hand, which was holding the pen, stiffened when he heard this.
A split second later, he, too, let out a sigh and continued filling in the form.
When he finally finished, both of Cheryl’s parents had stopped crying.
When Jim left the room, he bumped into Joshua, bringing Cheryl’s parents to meet with the chief officer in charge of their cases.
The two elders had to be propped up by Joshua and Lucas as they walked.
Cheryl’s father was clutching Joshua’s arm tightly as he said, “President Lynch, Cheryl has been in love with you even when she was still alive, and now that she has died, can I tell everyone that she was your girlfriend? That way, she can rest in peace…
“President Lynch, Cheryl had died while under your care, so you have to find out who did this and punish them for this!”
Joshua let out an exhale when he heard this. Just as he was about to say something, he caught sight of Jim walking toward him.
He curled his lips into a smirk and said, “Don’t worry, Mr. Martin. I’ll definitely punish the murderer, and I won’t let them get away scot-free!”
With that, he even shot Jim a meaningful look.
Jim narrowed his eyes and ignored them. Instead, he circled past them and strode toward Luna’s prison cell.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
