Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy by Inked Snow Chapter 1696
Joshua curled his lips into a smirk. “What a change of heart.
Over the past year, every time Joshua and Luna met, whether at Tea Cottage or Luna’s current residence, Joshua had approached her first.
However, since she was in jail, she was the one initiating their meeting instead.
“There’s no change of heart.” Jim glanced impassively at the elderly couple behind Joshua. “It’s natural that Luna would want to see you, considering you were the one who persuaded Cheryl’s parents into framing her for murder.”
Jim had deliberately lowered his voice when he said this, but to his surprise, both of Cheryl’s parents still overheard this.
Mrs. Martin widened her eyes in shock when she heard this. She immediately stormed over to Jim, dragging Mr. Martin behind her, and yelled, “What on earth are you talking about? How dare you say we’re framing Luna?”
She pointed at the surveillance footage on the police officer’s screen and said, sobbing, “Everything has been recorded through security footage! Every time Luna and our daughter met, they’d get into conflict!
“Even before attending the wedding yesterday, they had gotten into another dispute right at the hotel entrance! Who else would want to kill our daughter apart from her?
“Not to mention that according to the witness statement, our daughter’s final words were asking Luna why she killed her! How dare you even say we’re framing her based on so much evidence? Where is your conscience?”
In contrast to Mrs. Martin’s outburst, Mr. Martin was far calmer.
He furrowed his brows and glanced first at the surveillance footage, then at Jim. He sneered and said, “My dear, don’t be so upset. This is the man that was with Luna at the mall and the hotel entrance who had humiliated our daughter as well. He’s Luna’s elder brother!”
As soon as Mrs. Martin heard this, she cocked her arm and slapped Jim right across his face.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
