Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy by Inked Snow Chapter 1699
Joshua’s words were just as cold as his tone.
Luna furrowed her brows as she stared at the man before her.
All of a sudden, she realized that she did not understand this man as well as she thought.
She had always thought he loved and cared about her.
Even when Jim told her what he had said, she still thought that Jim was exaggerating and that Joshua could not possibly be unaware of how bad the living conditions in prison were.
If he cared about her, he would not subject her to such suffering.
However, what Joshua had said felt like a slap to Luna’s face.
He had said that he would rather she be imprisoned than stand against him.
Luna bit her lip and lifted her head to stare at Joshua, not knowing whether to laugh or cry about this. “Joshua, do you think that your vengeance toward the Landry family is more important to me?”
Joshua narrowed his eyes and stared at her, smiling. “What do you think? Luna—”
He stared at her with a solemn expression. “I had been planning my defeat of the Quinn and Land ry families for almost a year now. If you hadn’t been pregnant with my child for the first nine months, the Landry family would’ve been on the verge of bankruptcy, like the Quinn family, by now.
“It’s true that Granny Lynch had indeed killed your uncle, Charles’ brother Colin, but on the other hand, the Land ry family had also poisoned Granny Lynch and almost made her lose her life.
“After being rescued from the verge of dying, Granny Lynch kept on telling me not to cause any more trouble for the Landry family so that the vengeance wouldn’t fester.”
As soon as he thought of Granny Lynch, a glimmer of hatred and malice shot through Joshua’s eyes. “From the
moment I took over Lynch Group, Granny had been telling m e over and over that the vengeance between our two families had ended, and she hoped that Lynch Group would become a clean and forgiving company in my hands, but what happened after that?
“Granny still died in the hands of a Landry.”
Luna bit her lip.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
