Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy by Inked Snow Chapter 1709
Lucas’ jaw dropped in shock.
It turned out that…the fingerprint left on the murder weapon was not that of a right index finger.
This was just a piece of false information leaked out by Joshua and the police to lure the murderer.
The murderer would surely try to destroy any evidence pointing toward them as soon as they found out about the fingerprint.
Therefore, anyone who was desperate to get rid of the finger that had allegedly left behind a fingerprint at the scene of the crime would be the murderer!
As soon as he thought of this, Lucas could not help admiring Joshua’s intelligence. He raised his thumbs at Joshua and said, ”What a great plan, Sir!”
Joshua shot him an impassive glance but did not reply.
Lucas meekly pulled his hand back and continued, ” Well, Sir, since we already know that Hunter Quinn was the one who had killed Cheryl…would the
police take any action?
”Will Ma’am be able to get released from jail after the police arrest Hunter?”
Joshua narrowed his eyes and lowered his head to toy with his phone. ”I don’t intend to let her out at this moment.”
Heather and Charles had just handed over Landry Group to Jim and Luna, and there would surely be plenty of things to take care of during this time.
Considering that Luna did not have any experience running a company, she would face many challenges, but Jim was different.
Jim had been running Landry Group since more than a year ago before he eventually quit his job.
Therefore, Joshua did not want Luna to get released from jail at a time like this.
At least, he wanted to wait until Jim had successfully segregated some of the Quinn Group’s assets from that of Landry Group’s before releasing Luna so that she would not have to deal with so much bothersome stuff.
However, Lucas did not understand this at all.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
