In the kitchen, Lily was preparing fried chicken with the other servants.
“Ms. Luna, “ Lily greeted with a smile when she noticed Luna entering. “Fried chicken is so oily and unhealthy. I don’t understand why children like it so much.“
Luna frowned and glanced at the food. Lily was right; it did look quite oily.
Luna recalled that there were some leftover ingredients in the fridge from when she made mushroom soup last time. She took a deep breath, put on an apron, and started preparing mushroom soup.
“Ms. Luna.“ It was rare that the both of them could talk in private like this, so Lily heaved a deep sigh and began, “Actually, Mr. Quinn…“
“Shh.“ Luna frowned and stopped her from continuing. “You’re the new maid here at Blue Bay Villa, and if someone discovers the relationship between you and Malcolm, they’ll think that you’re spying for him, “ muttered Luna under her breath as she prepared the ingredients skill fully.
Lily froze at her response. Her face turned pale.
“Do you… not want to talk about him? “ Lily asked. She had worked as a maid for the Quinns in the past, so she had witnessed firsthand the devotion that Malcolm displayed toward Luna. When Luna was still abroad, she was not too close with Malcolm, but they still maintained a friendly relationship.
However, ever since Luna returned to Banyan City, she did not keep in touch with him that often anymore. Whenever Lily recalled the way Malco lm stared longingly at the phone, she could not help but feel sympathetic toward him. This man was so faithful and committed toward Luna, yet she refused to even bring him up in conversation.
”It’s not that I don’ t want to talk about him, ” Luna explained with a frown. She lowered her voice and continued, ”I just don’t think this is the right place to be talking about him.”
Luna changed the topic immediately after she finished her sentence. ”How much fried chicken did you make? Don’t cook too much. It’s high in fat and calories, so we should let them have enough for only one meal.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
