Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy by Inked Snow Chapter 1721
To Hunter’s disappointment, Granny Quinn did not come to see him at all.
Instead, the person sitting in front of him was a sneering Malcolm.
”You, too, have become a useless pawn,” Malcolm said, cackling. ”Granny gave me money yesterday, and in exchange, I will have to come to visit you today, so I guess you know what that means, right?
”I can’t believe that yesterday, I had even told you that you’d one day become the successor of the Quinn family. What a surprise!”
Hunter stared at Malcolm with an expression so cold that it was as though he would kill him at any moment.
Feeling the hatred in Hunter’s gaze, Malcolm let out an exhale and shifted into a comfortable position in his chair. ”I know why you asked Granny for help: You want her to help you get out of this predicament, don’t you?
”However, since she has told me to come in her stead without any further instructions, I’m guessing she has no intention of getting you out of here.
”However, if you beg me, I might be able to help you.”
Hunter narrowed his eyes. ”Will you do that if I really beg you?”
Malcolm curled his lips into a smirk. ”Of course…”
He inched closer to Hunter and said in a low voice, ”Of course I won’t.
”How can someone that was kicked out of the Quinn family and has no connections or money whatsoever help you break out of jail?”
Hunter narrowed his eyes, despair clouding his gaze.
He was very loyal to his family ever since his parents passed away when he was young. Over the years, he would try his best to accomplish every single one of the tasks that Granny Quinn and Malcolm had asked him to.
However, he never thought that his grandmother would give up on him when he got in trouble, and his cousin-brother would taunt him for this.
Seeing the look of despair on Hunter’s face,
Malcolm cackled and continued, ”Hunter, you’ve indeed done plenty of things for our family over the years, but that doesn’t mean you’re competent. You were the one who landed yourself in this trouble at the beginning.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
