Chapter 1757
When Luna and Theo arrived at Gwen’s room, she was being held against the bed by an angry Luke, his hand around her neck.
“Luke Jones… I will… never forgive you…” Gwen’s entire face had turned purple, but she still muttered the same words of hatred over and over.
“Luke!” Luna stormed into the room and grabbed hold of Luke’s arm. “Let go of her! She hasn’t recovered from her bleeding today yet. Are you trying to choke her to death?”
Luke narrowed his eyes when he heard the anger in Luna’s tone and let go of Gwen.
Gwen slumped back onto her bed, panting heavily, and let out a cackle as she stared at the ceiling above her head. “Why did you stop him? You should’ve let him kill me.”
She continued to stare at the ceiling with a distraught look. “I’m blind. All of the men I fall in love with are worst than the last, so knowing this, is it wrong of me to want to kill myself?”
She sniffed as tears slid silently down her cheek. “Even if you don’t kill me, Luke, I’ll one day escape from here and leave you!”
Luke, who was standing in the doorway, sneered when he heard this, a hint of malice playing o n his lips. “Well, why don’t you try?”
He glanced coldly at Gwen’s slim legs and added, “Don’t force me to break your legs.”
Luna furrowed her brows. “You shut up! Do you feel very proud of hurting the woman you love?”
Luna knew better than anyone just how much Luke cared about Gwen.
When they were still in Sea City, despite knowing Gwen had gotten pregnant due to her previous experiences with other men, he still objected against her getting an abortion out of consideration of her health.
Gwen used to mean so much to him, so how did their relationship end up like this?
Having been scolded by Luna, Luke curled his lips into a smirk and snickered. “What right do you have to reprimand me for this? Haven’t you been hurting Joshua all this while too?”
He wiped the blood on the corner of his mouth, which Gwen had bitten, and added, “Do you feel very proud of hurting the man you love?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
