Chapter 1769 Joshua’s words brought pin-drop silence into the room.
Luna’s face turned terribly pale.
She did not understand; she had explained it all clearly back in Lincoln City. She already said that her trading herself for a one-night stand to get him to rescue Gwen was because she was too anxious. It was just a makeshift plan.
A moment ago, when they were outside, Joshua said that she owed him twice, though she ignored it.
Since when did it become, in his eyes, that she used her body to trade for things or to use her body to beg him to take her in to see Gwen? She only misspoke due to desperation for saving Gwen and offended him. Must he use it to humiliate her that way?
At that thought, Luna was thankful that she did not tell Joshua about her child out of excitement in the garden a moment ago. Joshua was not worthy to know about it!
“Joshua, think before you speak.” Even if she was imprisoned, when Gwen heard Joshua’s words, she could not help but rebuke, “No matter what, Luna was once the woman that loved you the most. She even had four children with you! How could you talk about her in this way?”
Joshua sneered. He could not be bothered with Gwen to continue that topic.
Gwen was right. Luna was once the woman that loved him the most…but she did not love him a t that moment. Because she did not love him, she could blindly ignore the sacrifice he made for her.
When he rescued her from Mr. Hanson, she did not even thank him.
When her mother was in trouble, he took her to Lincoln City through the night.
She thought that he used his body to help her get rid of the poison, so she used this as an excuse to beg him to save Gwen.
Even if later on she found out that she had misunderstood him, she did not even apologize to him.
When Heather passed away, he hugged her and comforted her for the entire afternoon.
What did he get in return?
He had done so many things for her. A moment ago, outside by the entrance, she was not even willing to speak more than a single sentence to him.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
