Chapter 1771
Luna furrowed her brows, unable to register Gwen’s words.
Malcolm actually got Luke to help him find the thing left behind by Heather?
If he wanted it, it was simple. All he needed to do was to attend and give Heather a funeral.
After all, Malcolm was widely known as Heather’s husband, and it was only natural for a husband to take care of the affairs of his deceased wife.
Why, then, did Malcolm not appear when he should have dealt with Heather’s funeral, even waiting for her and Jim to finish taking care of Heather’s funeral before he approached Luke’s men for help?
Why did he go to such extra measures?
Just when Luna was thinking about it, Gwen furrowed her brows and thought for a while before adding, “He was injured when he came here; limping, even. Initially, I couldn’t even recognize him.”
Gwen closed her eyes and thought back about the details that happened that night.
Malcolm came to her two days ago, which was the night when Luna and Jim had finished taking care of Heather’s funeral.
That day, Gwen argued with Luke about the electronic chain again. They were arguing in the living area when one of Luke’s men took the wretched-looking Malcolm in torn clothes in.
Malcolm immediately knelt. He offered five million dollars to get Luke’s men to steal Heather’s possession. He even said that this has to do with his survival, that he would not have come to look for Luke if it were out of desperation.
However, that day, Luke was in a terrible mood. He kicked Malcolm and chased him out. After Malcolm left, the floor was still stained with his blood from kneeling. Gwen remembered every detail clearly.
After recounting all this to Luna, Luna was silent for a very long time.
Theo, by the side, sighed and said, “It looks like Heather’s death has nothing to do with him.”
If Malcolm sent someone to kill Heather, even if there was something in Heather’s hand, they would be able to take it from her. Malcolm would not need to get another person’s help to
steal it.
Malcolm went missing, and his mansion with Heather was even burnt down. If it was not Malcolm, then why would he do such things?

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
