Chapter 1829
Luna was so shocked to hear this that she could not say a single word.
Never had she thought that… Christopher would like Bonnie in that way Luna had always thought that Christopher was a man in his forties residing in a 20-year-old man’s body, a sensible, mature person with no wants or worldly desires.
Not only that but at one point, she and Bonnie had even wondered whether Christopher had dated anyone before and tried to imagine the kind of woman he liked.
To her surprise, it turned out the woman that Christopher liked was Bonnie Seeing the shocked look on Luna’s face, Christopher curled his lips into a bitter smile.
“What’s wrong? You don’t think I deserve to be with someone like Bonnie?” With that, he turned to glance at Bonnie, who was lying on the bed with her eyes shut Even though the expression on her pale face was calm, her brows were knitted in a frown.
It seemed that even in her dreams, she was not happy.
Christopher let out a bitter chuckle and lifted his head to stare earnestly at Luna.
“In the past, I used to think that I was no match for her, but now, I don’t want to keep my feelings to myself anymore.” In the past, Christopher used to think that Bonnie was like sunshine, whereas he was like wet, damp moss.
The two of them were from different worlds, and she was the sunshine that he would never be able to reach.
In the past, Christopher would agree that a woman like Bonnie had to end up with someone like Jim.
Bonnie was cheerful and dazzling, whereas Jim was powerful and intelligent; they were a match made in heaven.
However, when he saw Bonnie crawling in the rain helplessly, clutching onto her wound… Christopher had no way of suppressing his emotions anymore, no way of continuing to convince himself that Jim was the man who deserved to be with her.
The only way to make the person he loved happy was to keep her by his side so that he could give her the love she deserved.
He could not place this expectation on someone else anymore.
He could not let another man make her happy anymore, not even Jim, the person he had grown up with! Seeing the stern look on Christopher’s face, Luna quickly shook her head and replied, “That’s not it, Christopher.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
