Luna flung open the door and plopped down on the bed.
“Christopher claims to like Bonnie, but I don’t think he truly does!” Joshua followed her into the room and closed the door after him.
“But he looks quite sincere, and he seems to treat Bonnie very gently too.” Luna chewed on her lip, grabbed hold of a blanket, and snapped, “Well, if he really likes her, he wouldn’t have put her through this pain! “Bonnie could’ve been spared from this suffering, but he was the one who chose to do this to her.
I know h e wanted to make Bonnie remember the pain she had gone through so that she’d stay away from my brother in the future, and then Christopher would have a greater chance of winning her heart.
“But this sort of act is selfish right to its core!” Joshua glanced meaningfully at Luna, then narrowed his eyes.
“Well, I don’t think it’s entirely wrong to use methods like this to get what you want.” He strode over to the bay window and stared out at the yard that had been drenched in the rain.
Inside the yard, the trees looked exceptionally green and perky, and the small bench seemed to look even fresher underneath the pouring rain.
Joshua narrowed his eyes as his thoughts drifted elsewhere.
A year ago, he had been sitting on the same bench downstairs, muttering all of his most heartfelt words t o Luna into a recording device.
At that time, the first thing he thought of every time he woke up was what kind of outfit he would go for that day and whether Luna would finally agree to meet him.
A year had passed since then.
Not only had he successfully gotten Luna to meet him, but they were even standing in that same room he had tried to peer into every day.
However, in a cruel twist of fate, they would never be able to return to what they used to be.
Behind him, Luna did not seem to notice that Joshua’s thoughts had drifted away.
Instead, she continued angrily, “But if you truly love someone, you couldn’t bear to see them suffer, not even a little bit.
“Even if there was no choice, one should only be allowed to hurt the person they loved in the most drastic situations, but it’s clear that Christopher had other options.
All that, and he chose to hurt her.” After rambling on, Luna suddenly realized that Joshua did not answer her at all.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
