Chapter 1844
“When I find them, I’ll bring them over to see you so that they can get a clear idea of what you’ve been up t o alongside Charlotte.”
The tone in Joshua’s voice grew frostier as he continued, “You deliberately sabotaged Jim and Bonnie’s relationship and his sibling bond with Luna, and even plotted to take the Landry family fortune as your own.
“If your parents see the despicable things you did, they’ll probably be glad that they decided to abandon you at that orphanage.”
The atmosphere inside the car was suffocating.
Roanne clenched her fists as she lifted her head to glare at Joshua. “I never did any of these! Don’t spout nonsense like this!”
All of these were Charlotte’s doing, so what did they have to do with her?
She was obeying Charlotte’s orders and doing things as she wanted!
“This isn’t nonsense; everyone in Merchant City knows what you did.” Joshua reached out to unlock the car door with a sneer. “Didn’t you want to get off? Well, you can go now, and anything I do after this, anything I say to anyone-will have nothing to do with you from now on.”
Roanne’s entire body stiffened when she heard this.
She never thought that Joshua would behave like this after she rejected the offer to cooperate with him.
It was as though she mattered almost nothing to him, but…
She was Charlotte’s personal assistant, the person closest to her, so how could he possibly give up his plans to bribe her so easily?
Just as Roanne was staring at Joshua’s face blankly, trying to figure out what to do, he suddenly turned around to glance at her with a sneer. “Please don’t be under the impression that you’re important to me.
“I was trying to do you a favor and help you find your parents, but you couldn’t understand my kindness.
“Maybe I was wrong, and in fact, you love being Charlotte’s slave and love being slapped by her in broad daylight.
“Theo, send her off.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
