Chapter 1848 Luna nodded.
“Well, Roanne could’ve chosen not to help Charlotte at all.
“Perhaps you should think of it as all the suffering that you, Bonnie, Jim, and the rest of the Landry family are going through now was all part of Roanne’s doing as well.
“Do you still pity her now?”
Luna was rendered speechless when she heard this.
Joshua was right; Roanne ended up in such a state because of karma for helping Charlotte carry out her despicable acts all this while.
Seeing the way Luna looked, Joshua let out a sigh, walked over, pressed Luna onto the couch, pouring her a cup of tea. “If you have the time and mental energy to pity someone else, why don’t you start pitying yourself instead?
“Previously, when you were still unconscious, Jim and Charlotte didn’t choose to do anything to you, but now that you’re awake, they might start causing you trouble starting tomorrow.”
Luna took a sip from the cup of tea that Joshua handed her. “I’m not scared…because I have you with me.”
These simple words were like meteors shooting into Joshua’s heart, sending ripples in his previously calm heart.
He could not believe his ears. “What…what did you just say?”
Luna bit her lip and lowered her head. “You heard me the first time.”
No matter how reluctant she was to admit it, this was the truth…
She felt safe with Joshua by her side, especially after finding out about Joshua’s plan for bringing Theo with him to find Roanne.
Because of this, she felt that as long as Joshua was with her, there was nothing they could not solve.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
