Chapter 1854
Lucas quickly turned around, smiling.
“Yes, Sir.
Do you still need me to buy you breakfast?” Joshua nodded and murmured in affirmation.
“Alright then.
I’ll go out right now.” With that, Lucas turned around, anxious to leave before an angry Joshua could find something to pick on him about.
However, he had just taken two steps when Joshua stopped him once more.
“Buy some for her too.
Remember to get something that she can reheat by herself later on.
I’m guessing she’ll be asleep for a little longer.” Lucas froze in his steps when he heard this.
“Yes, Sir.” Then, he scampered out of the room.
Meanwhile, upstairs, Luna was awoken by Bonnie’s call.
“Luna.” Bonnie’s voice sounded nasally from the other end of the line.
It was clear she had just been crying.
“I’m still feeling very sad about all this.” Luna, who had just awoken, let out a yawn as she sleepily comforted Bonnie.
Then, she climbed out of bed.
Joshua was so aggressive last night that her pajamas had been torn to shreds, and her body was covered in green and purple bruises.
If anyone, who had no idea what had transpired in that room, was to walk in on her right this instant, they would think she had been beaten up the night before.
Luna picked up her torn pajamas from the floor, put them on, and slipped into the bathroom.
“By the way, Luna,” Bonnie said, frowning.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
