Chapter 1861
The entire car fell silent for about two seconds.
A split second later, Bonnie let out a somewhat awkward laugh as she stared out the window. “Don’t joke around.”
How could she date another man just to get back at her boyfriend?
She was not someone who could not survive without a man.
As the CEO of Craig Group and the sole heiress to the Craig family fortune, why would she resort to such means to get revenge on Jim?
Even though this was what her true thoughts were, Bonnie still curled her lips into a polite smile and said,” Christopher, I don’t like you that way, so I don’t think it’s fair to start dating you just to get back at Jim for abandoning me.”
Christopher narrowed his eyes and replied in a low voice, “What if I’m willing to let you do that?”
He grabbed Bonnie’s arm and added, “Bonnie, I’m willing to put up an act with you.”
Maybe, just maybe, things would turn out just the way he wanted.
Christopher had grabbed Bonnie’s arm too tightly, and she immediately turned around, a frown on her face as she flung his arm away. “Christopher, I’ve already told you that this isn’t fair for you. I—”
Before she could finish her sentence, the entire car shook and pulled to a halt.
Bonnie and Christopher lifted their heads unanimously, and the cab driver turned to shoot them an apologetic glance. “I’m sorry, Mr. Roberts, but I seem to have crashed into the car in front of me.”
He glanced at the hospital that was a stone’s throw away from where they were at and said, “Thankfully, we’re only less than a kilometer away from the hospital. Why don’t…the two of you get down and walk there?”
Christopher glanced at the front of the car, then at Bonnie sitting next to him. “Can you walk?”
The only thing he was worried about was Bonnie’s injury.
After being out in the rain and stained with dirt, her wound had gotten infected despite his treatment.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
