Chapter 1893
Joshua’s hand, which was holding his fork, froze in mid-air when he heard this.
A split second later, he lifted his head to smile at Luna. “Okay.”
It had been a long time since he last tasted Luna’s cooking.
It had been a long time…since he felt at home.
More than a year had passed since Luna was kidnapped by Hunter and brought to Merchant City.
Because of this, Joshua had also been living in Merchant City for more than a year.
Merchant City was thousands of kilometers away from Banyan City, and their food cultures
and beliefs were as different as night and day.
Truth be told, Joshua had been finding it difficult to adjust to this new lifestyle change, but he was willing to tolerate this for Luna.
With Luna offering to cook for him, he had no reason not to accept.
Luna pursed her lips and stared at Joshua, who was still eating, for a long time before finally saying, “Actually… what you saw of me and Bonnie’s conversation last night…
“That wasn’t what I meant at all.”
Initially, Luna had been unwilling to forgive Joshua over what he did to Gwen, but at this moment, after seeing the amount of effort he had put in to help her, she could not evade the stir of emotions that welled within her.
Therefore, she decided to explain the misunderstanding that had led to their fight.
“I was too tired last night, and my mind was groggy when I was texting Bonnie…” Luna rubbed her brows in frustration as she continued, “I remembered that Bonnie had asked me whether I’d be together with you if the vengeance between our families continued to exist, so I gave her a no for an answer.
“However, it turns out that this wasn’t what she had been asking me at all. She told me just now that what she asked was whether I’d choose to be together with you if the rivalry between our families ceased to exist…”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
