Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1944
“Star?” Malcolm lifted his head to stare at Joshua in puzzlement. “I don‘t recall anyone in the family… going boy that name at all.”
All members of the Quinn family were serious people, so why would they even pick such a quirky name?
Even if it were a nickname of sorts, it would not be something that sounded so childish.
Joshua narrowed his eyes. “Please think harder.”
He was almost certain that the person who had employed Todd to do such cruel things was one of the Quinns
That morning, he and Lucas had already read through all the information about the Quinn family they could get their hands on.
Initially, the Quinn family had been a small, humble family who could not seem to expand their business for many years due to considerable overlap with the Landry and Lynch families, who monopolized the market at that time.
However…something changed 20 years ago.
Lucy Hamilton‘s death and Colin Landry‘s accident drove the Landry and Lynch families into a conflict that had ceased to stop until present day.
The result of this was that these two families both suffered significant financial losses, and because of this, the Quinn family seized the opportunity to leap to the top of the food chain to compete directly with the Landry family.
At one point, the Quinn family had grown so powerful that their assets surpassed the Lynch family, but after Joshua took over from Granny Lynch, the Quinn family returned to their previous humble, quiet manner
Therefore, Joshua was confident that the Quinn family had been the mastermind behind the Landry and Lynch families‘ vengeance.
Of course, he had been so busy dealing with Charlotte and Jim over the past few days that he did not get the opportunity to look into this more, but that did not mean he had forgotten.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
