Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1953
“Still, Jim, we have to do something before we get married…”
She narrowed her eyes. “Harvey and Shelly are both still in Banyan City.
“Harvey’s your son, and Shelly is your daughter…so we have to bring them here to witness our wedding.”
A surge of warmth spread through Jim‘s heart when he heard this, but it was accompanied by puzzlement. “I have a daughter?”
Why did he have no recollection of that?
The only thing he remembered was that he had a son named Harvey, but his memories of Harvey were ones of six years ago.
Six years ago, when Jim was on a business trip in Banyan City, he had stumbled into the wrong room after getting drunk and accidentally slept with a mute woman.
After ten months, the woman gave birth to his son and handed the child over to Ms. Jennifer, a woman in Banyan City who sheltered orphans.
When Jim heard the news about this, he and Christopher flew over immediately. Besides bringing Harvey home, Christopher had grown fond of a girl who was friends with Harvey and brought her home with them to raise as his daughter.
Because of this, Jim had brought Harvey home, and Christopher had adopted June.
These two men, who had absolutely zero experience in rearing children, had gone through hell ever since they brought these two babies home, attempting to raise their children as single fathers.
The only memories Jim had of Harvey were these, and as for the girl named Shelly that Charlotte had mentioned…
He had no memory of her at all.
Seeing that Jim did not remember Shelly, Charlotte curled her lips into a smirk and narrowed her eyes slightly. Then, she said in a gentle voice, “Shelly‘s your daughter, and she‘s only two months old. She and Harvey were brought to Banyan City together by Christopher.”
Charlotte had deliberately left out the fact that Bonnie had been the one to raise Shelly and instead continued, “You know by now that Harvey and June are inseparable, and since Christopher brought June with him to live with Bonnie in Banyan City, naturally, Harvey followed as well.
“Not only that, but after what happened to your family, you were so busy dealing with Luna and Joshua every day that you didn‘t have the time to take care of Shelly, so you sent her over

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
