Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1957
“I just want to bring her back to Swan Lake Chalet where I can take good care of her.”
The first thing Bonnie heard when she opened the door was Christopher’s voice, laced with displeasure. “Have you forgotten, Mr. Lynch, that you had spent a period at Swan Lake Chalet in the past, nursing your wound? You know fully well how serene and peaceful Swan Lake Chalet is; perfect for a pregnant woman.
“There’s no harm in me bringing Bonnie there where I can take care of her, so why are you so against this?”
There was no hint of emotion in Joshua‘s low, cold voice when he replied, “I know that Swan Lake Chalet is a great place, and I‘m not against her staying there.”
With that, he lifted his head to stare icily at Christopher. “I just don’t trust you taking care of her.”
Christopher‘s expression darkened upon hearing this.
Next to him, Jim furrowed his brows and tried to stand up for his friend. “You don‘t trust Christopher? He‘s the only son of my mother‘s classmate, and he was born into a line of skilled doctors, which makes him the most professional and compassionate doctor I know. If you don‘t trust him, then there‘s probably no one else in this world you can trust!”
With that, Jim could not help scoffing as he added, “Besides, he‘s the father of the baby in Bonnie‘s womb, so of course he‘ll do everything in his power to keep the baby safe, so why are you still so worried?”
Both Joshua and Bonnie, who was still lurking in a corner of the room, froze when they heard
this.
Joshua fixated his sharp gaze on Christopher‘s face. “You say the baby belongs to you?”
Christopher turned his head away, a little nervous to meet Joshua‘s gaze. “Of course. Bonnie and I were together for so long…and it makes perfect sense that she‘d get pregnant with my baby.”
Joshua narrowed his eyes slightly. “When did you even start dating her?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
