Chapter 1990
“Why can’t I?” Harvey bit his lip and clung to Bonnie’s arm. “I want to be with my Mommy Bonnie! You found a new girlfriend, but I don’t like her at all, Mr. Jim!”
Jim narrowed his eyes at Harvey’s words.
He knew that if he did not bring Harvey home that night, this little rascal would really disown him!
If Harvey had been elsewhere, Jim would have been capable of using brute force to bring Harvey away from Bonnie, but this was Joshua’s house and hence, his territory.
He could ignore Bonnie’s feelings, but not Joshua’s.
If Joshua were displeased by this, he could choose to destroy Landry Group as quickly as that.
Jim did not even dare to imagine the consequences of this.
“Jim.” Charlotte let out a sigh, as though she could tell why he was hesitating, and said in a low voice, “Why don’t we go home to think this through? Now that Harvey is so determined, we can’t possibly try to forcefully take him. Besides…”
She let out another sigh. “We can’t afford to offend Joshua Lynch…”
“He’s my son, Charlotte.” Jim, who had always been obedient and relenting toward her, suddenly refused to listen to anything she said.
Harvey and Shelly were his children. If he chose not to bring Harvey home with him that night, it would be even more difficult to do so in the future.
He knew that Harvey would take his returning home without him as a silent agreement of their separation.
Jim could not let this happen!

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
