Chapter 2006 The night grew darker.
Perhaps due to their exhausting journey to Merchant City and the commotion ever since their arrival, it was surprisingly difficult to coax Shelly to sleep that night.
Bonnie had to coax and soothe her for a long time before finally getting Shelly to sleep.
By the time Bonnie placed Shelly back into her crib and confirmed that she had indeed fallen asleep, it was already past 10 o’clock.
When Bonnie opened the door, she discovered that Harvey had fallen asleep on the couch, still clutching his phone
Bonnie sighed, walked over, and took his phone from his hand.
His text conversation with Nigel was left open on the screen.
(Nigel, no matter what happens, I will find a way to make Bonnie get back together with Mr. Jim.
[I don’t think I’ll ever be happy again unless she becomes my new Mommy.)
Tears slid down Bonnie’s cheeks as she read these words.
She lowered her head to stare at Harvey, sleeping soundly on the sofa, and suddenly felt as though someone had stabbed her in the heart.
After a long time, she finally let out an exhale, placed Harvey’s phone aside, and gently laid a blanket over him.
Then, she turned to glance out the phone.
At this moment, Sean was sitting on a stone bench in the garden, talking on the phone.
She could faintly hear the gentle sound of his voice as he talked to the person on the other end of the line.
When she saw this, Bonnie could not help feeling a little lonely.
It seemed that…everyone had someone to love and love them back.
However, she had no one except Harvey and Shelly, who were not even blood-related to her.
Not only that, but Bonnie could not imagine any man treating her as kindly as Sean had.
In a split second, loneliness and solidarity enveloped her entire being.
She let out a sigh and turned around. After picking up her jacket, she let herself out of the back | door and followed the path out of Landry Mansion’s backyard.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
