Chapter 2008
Rage surged into Jim’s heart when he heard this. “You’re lying!”
He fixed his dark, penetrating stare on Bonnie’s face and furiously retorted, “You can’t possibly have done it for money!”
He had investigated everything about this woman; she was the last heir to the Craig family business and had inherited every last penny of the family fortune.
According to rough estimations, the Craig family was worth almost as much as the Landry family.
Not only that, but after suffering the financial losses as a result of Joshua’s attacks, the Craig family had already surpassed the Landry family in terms of wealth and assets! How could Bonnie say that she was trying to trick him out of his money?
“Who wouldn’t want more money?” Bonnie retorted as though she could tell what he was thinking. She flung his arm away, sneering. “Haven’t you always thought of me as this kind of person, Jim? From the moment I approached you, you’ve thought I was just trying to take advantage of you after losing your memories.
“No matter how much I tried to explain everything, and no matter what Luna said, you refused to believe that you and I had been in love in the past.
“Why do you not believe me now if that’s what you’ve always taken as the truth since the start?”
Her gaze was etched with disdain and contempt. “Why do you think I’m lying now? Tell me, Mr. Jim Landry, what do I have to do to make you satisfied?”
Jim narrowed his eyes upon hearing this.
He had to admit that Bonnie was right. He had indeed doubted her intentions in the past, but…
Everything that happened over the last two days made him certain that Bonnie would never do something like this.
Children would not lie; they were not capable of pretending whom they liked and whom they did not.
Because of this, Jim could tell that Harvey and Shelly both truly adored Bonnie, and Bonnie, too, had taken great care of the two children.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
