Chapter 2034
Bonnie immediately stood up as well when she saw Luna coming. “Luna, I…” “I know.” Luna let out a sigh, hugged Harvey back, and smiled at Bonnie. “Don’t worry; I’m sure the outcome must be something good.”
Bonnie grew even more nervous to hear this.
In a trembling voice, she explained to Joshua and Luna that the butler had sent one of his men to follow Assistant Clark.
Joshua furrowed his brows upon hearing this. “With only a copy and not the original…it’s hard to tell if Jim will believe the results of the DNA test.”
Bonnie shot him a confused glance. “But the original is with Assistant Clark.”
Joshua and Luna exchanged a glance upon hearing this. Finally, Luna let out a sigh and reached out to grasp Bonnie’s hands. “Assistant Clark…passed away just now, in a car crash.”
As soon as she heard this, Bonnie’s entire body froze in shock as though she had been struck by lightning
She stared dazedly at Luna, a faint humming sound echoing in her head. Assistant Clark had been perfectly fine before this. How could he have… A split second later, Bonnie understood that this had been Charlotte’s doing. After all, the report that Assistant Clark had been carrying contained evidence proving that Charlotte was not Shelly’s mother at all.
If Jim were to get his hands on this report, he would not be able to accept the fact that Charlotte had lied to him, even if he still maintained his loyalty toward her.
As soon as she thought of this, Bonnie bit her lip and immediately glanced at Harvey. In a split second, she suddenly realized that it could have been a mistake to bring Harvey with her to conduct a DNA test.
If Harvey was truly her son, Charlotte would stop at nothing to bring the two of them down.
That woman was a merciless crook.
Bonnie had to admit that her power and influence in Merchant City were not sufficient to protect Harvey against Charlotte at all.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
