Chapter 2036
Luna immediately froze upon hearing this.
She stared at Joshua blankly for a long time before finally understanding what he said. She bit her lip and said dazedly, “Are you saying that…Charlotte had been involved in trying to kill me as well?” Joshua narrowed his eyes and said with a sneer, “That’s right.”
Luna felt the chill rise from her sole to the top of her head.
If that was true, then Charlotte…was far more deceitful than she had thought. If she had been involved in Heather and Aura’s plans to kill her six years ago… Her visiting Luna when she was in jail for Cheryl’s murder and claiming to help her had been fake all along
Luna, at that point, still naively believed that Charlotte had wanted to help her at the start, but after her plans of getting close to Jim failed, she had no choice but to resort to desperate measures…
“Since Charlotte had been devising to kill Aunt Luna with Heather and Aura, why did she fall out with Heather and even end up becoming disfigured because of this?”
All of a sudden, Harvey lifted his head from between Bonnie’s arms and asked in a sweet, earnest voice.
Even though he was only six, he was an avid reader of crime thrillers, and he had always borne an interest in solving mysteries. Joshua curled his lips into a smile when he heard Harvey’s question, strode over, and gently patted his head. “This is an issue of conflict of interest between adults. You’re too young, and you won’t understand any of this.”
Harvey pouted when he heard this but did not reply. Bonnie, on the other hand, held him close to her and could not help lamenting, “I can’t believe I have such a smart boy for a son.”
F
She had always been envious of Harvey’s mother. After all, this boy’s intelligence had always been on par with Luna’s three children.
Not only that, but he even requested Jim to bring him to Banyan City to find his mother as soon as he found out that she could possibly still be alive.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
