Chapter 2046
Bonnte immediately frowned upon hearing this voice.
She and Sean lifted their heads in unison and suddenly realized that there was a person sitting on the stone bench in the corner of the garden.
Even though it was dark out and she could not make out his face, Bonnie knew instantaneously that it was Jim, based on the sound of his voice and the cold, unapproachable aura emanating off his body.
However, despite knowing that he was there, she did not feel at all sheepish about what she had just said about him but instead furrowed her brows in disgust. “What are you doing here?”
Was he not supposed to be spending time with his precious Charlotte at this hour?
Jim could not help sneering when he heard her. “Why can’t I be here, in the garden of my own house?”
He stood up, strode over to Bonnie, and said coldly, “Besides, I wouldn’t have been able to hear Ms. Craig’s truthful admission if I hadn’t come today.”
He narrowed his eyes and stepped closer and closer to her, a dangerous look on his face. “I didn’t know Ms. Craig hated me so much until today.”
He sneered. “If you hate me so much, why did you try over and over again to approach me? Why had you been so desperate to get on my children’s good sides?”
With that, he reached out, grabbed hold of Bonnie’s chin, and forced her to stare straight into his eyes. “Do you have a masochist trait, Ms. Craig, or were you so confident in yourself that you were sure you’d be able to get your hands on me?”
It turned out that she had never been in love with him after all.
If so, why had she cried for him so many times and tried so desperately to get close to him over and over?
Did she think it was some sort of game?
Jim’s grip on Bonnie was so tight that she could not help furrowing her brows in pain. She struggled against his grip and exclaimed, “Let go of me, Jim Landry!”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
