Chapter 2048 Jim had gone insane!
Bonnie continued to struggle against his grip. “Let go of me!”
“You have nothing to say about that, do you?” Jim had lost every last ounce of his rationality under the drug’s effects. He stared at Bonnie’s face with delirious, bloodshot eyes and said coldly, “Bonnie, is this the love you claim to have for me?”
without warning, he grabbed hold of Bonnie’s chin and pressed his lips onto hers.
So abrupt, so sudden was his kiss that Bonnie’s eyes widened in shock.
She froze for a long time, utterly stunned by this, then finally remembered what she had been doing
She started to flail and thrash once more, but all of a sudden, another man’s hand grabbed hold of Jim and pulled him away from her.
A split second later, Sean’s fist crashed forcefully against Jim’s face. “Let go of her!”
He shot Bonnie a pained glance, then turned to stare at Jim. “I’m warning you to show some respect for Ms. Craig!”
Over the past two days, Sean had observed everything that had happened between Bonnie and Jim.
Jim had rejected Bonnie over and over and even threatened her to abort the baby in her belly.
However, never once had Bonnie criticized or reprimanded him; the only thing she had done in response to his cruel acts was try to stay away from him as much as possible.
Not only had she respected his wishes, but she still treated his son and daughter as though they were her own.
Because of this, Sean could not help but pity Bonnie. There was no way he could stand by and watch while she was being bullied by Jim.
Sean had not shown any mercy in his punches, and he had struck Jim so hard that he had to take a few small steps back to balance himself.
A split second later, he steadied himself, and he seemed to have regained some hint of his rationality.
He lifted his head to shoot Sean a sinister look. “You dare to punch me?”
Sean spread his arms out to both sides to shield Bonnie behind him. “I’ll still hit you if you
derelay another finger on her!”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
