Chapter 2050
Bonnie lifted her head to stare at Jim’s sharp, chiseled jawline, her eyelashes quivering. “What … What did you just say?”
“You’ll be fine, B,” Jim repeated without hesitation.
As soon as he said this, he froze.
Why…did he call her that?
If that was the case, why had he been compelled to call her that?
As opposed to Jim’s shock, Bonnie’s face was etched with disbelief and excitement.
When he had said that, all the words that came out of Jim’s mouth, and even his tone, sounded identical to the old Jim!
Did this mean that…the old Jim would return soon?
As soon as she thought of this, Bonnie stared at Jim’s chiseled face, her eyes brimming with tears.
“Jim…” her voice was shaking as she muttered, “I believe you.”
She believed him when he said she would be fine.
She believed that one day, the old Jim would return.
Bonnie was sure of it!
Otherwise, Jim would not have said this just when she was on the verge of giving up on him.
For a split second, a crazy thought crossed Bonnie’s mind; could it be that the old Jim had somehow broken through Charlotte’s control over him and had said that to tell her not to give up on him?
T
Bonnie bit her lip, and tears started to fall as she stared at the man before her.
Jim could not help feeling even more guilty when he saw her crying.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
