Chapter 2052 Theo furrowed his brows and quickly declined the call when he heard Jim asking about Roanne. “I…haven’t been in touch with her at all. You must be mistaken.”
With that, he let out an exhale and circled past Jim. “Well, I need to get back soon, so I’ll be off
now.”
How could Jim let Theo go just like that?
Roanne had kidnapped Shelly and demanded Charlotte meet her the next day.
“Theo.” Jim narrowed his eyes and said sternly, his gaze fixed on Theo’s face, “Are you in on this with Roanne? Is the medicine for Shelly? Has Shelly fallen sick?”
Theo did not know how to answer these questions, but the longer he stayed silent, the more confident Jim grew in his suspicion that Theo was working together with Roanne.
He lunged forward and grabbed hold of Theo’s collar. “Tell me! Where the hell is Shelly?!
“You’re Luna’s friend, and Joshua had been so kind as to offer you a place to stay, so how could you have done this? Shelly is my daughter and Luna and Joshua’s niece!
“Have you forgotten that I’m Luna’s half-brother and Joshua’s cousin?”
Theo was frozen in shock by how aggressive Jim sounded.
A split second later, he furrowed his brows and asked, “So? What does this have to do with me?
He had only come to the hospital to buy some medicine for June, who had fallen sick but refused to take the medication that Dr. Suess prescribed for her.
Where did Jim get the idea that he was involved in kidnapping his daughter with Roanne?
What an imagination.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
