Chapter 2096 Joshua furrowed his brows and clutched the steering wheel tightly in his hands. “I guess we have to find Charlotte as soon as we can.”
He sighed and added, “My thought is that Theo doesn’t really want to marry Roanne because he loves her, but because…”
He narrowed his eyes. “Because he feels guilty for her death. He thinks that he played an undeniable role in Roanne’s death, and thus he’s doing all he can to make it up to her so that he’ll be less burdened by his grief.
“This was why he broke up with Rachel, and I’m guessing this is the same reason he plans to marry Roanne.”
Luna bit her lip and lifted her head to stare at Joshua, still gripping her phone tightly. “Does this mean that if we find Charlotte as soon as we can and force her to admit her mistake and take responsibility for Roanne’s murder… Theo’s guilt may be lessened?”
Joshua nodded and replied in a low voice, “That seems to be the way to go, logically speaking.” Luna closed her eyes and sighed. She knew what Joshua was trying to say. Logically speaking, they would be able to help theo as long as they could find Charlotte.
However, what Joshua was implying was that this was just a guess, and if Theo were to stand by his decision even after Charlotte took responsibility for her actions, they would have no other way of helping him. As soon as she thought of this, Luna sighed and said, “I guess we’ll have to try.” Even if things had not turned out the way they wanted, they had at least tried.
Joshua nodded.
Then, he glanced at Luna through the rearview mirror and said, “Actually, I had wanted to ask Dr. Liddell something. Do you remember the dream your mother mentioned she had during her stay in Lincoln City?
“In her dreams, Sirius had come to her and told her the truth about my Aunt Lucy’s death. On top of that, he had admitted that the reason he hadn’t told her the truth about this earlier was that he did not know if she could take it, and now that she was in a coma, he chose to spill everything because he didn’t think she’d ever wake up…” Joshua paused. “Don’t you think this doesn’t sound like a dream?” Luna fell silent upon hearing this. She wrung her hands and tried to recall every word that Rosalyn had said.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
