She, Charlotte, was his daughter, and his only daughter at that. He would protect her no matter what! Charlotte curled her lips into a smirk and repeated gleefully, “I said that you’re an even bigger monster than I am, Quentin.”
Her triumphant smirk was nothing but a threat to Quentin.
Quentin narrowed his eyes, lunged forward, and wrapped his hand around her throat, lifting her from the ground by her neck. “Charlotte, there’s plenty of things that I choose to let go of simply because I know your mother never taught you any better when you were young, but some things aren’t supposed to be said.”
He stared at Charlotte with a gaze so cold there was not even a hint of emotion a father was supposed to have toward his child in it. “Do you understand?”
“Ack!” Charlotte coughed. “I… I understand…” Her entire face had turned scarlet from the lack of oxygen, looking as though she would die at any moment. She struggled against his grip and begged for his mercy, “I… I’m sorry, Quen-no…Father… I’m sorry…”
The murderous look in Quentin’s eyes dissipated as soon as he heard this.
He narrowed his eyes and shot Charlotte another glare before finally placing her down on the ground. “There are some things that I don’t mind you saying at all, but if you choose to be this rude again, I’ll show you how cruel I can be; it’ll be as though I never even had a daughter.” Then, he turned and left.
Charlotte slumped against her bed, gasping for air. A split second later, just as Quentin was about to disappear from view, she finally could not stop herself from asking, “Sirius, you told me that you never liked my mother at all and that sleeping with her had been entirely an accident, but if that was the case, why did you force her to go through with the pregnancy?”

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
