Chapter 2110
Bonnie’s heart leaped into her throat when she heard him mention Number-9.She bit her lip and tilted her head slightly to eavesdrop on Jim’s conversation.
However, Jim noticed this and instead scoffed and turned his back toward her so she would not be able to hear anything.
He could not believe that even until this very moment, Bonnie had still not given up on her scheme to get close to him.
If she found out about Number -9, she would no doubt seize the opportunity to impersonate Number-9 and force him to marry her.
He had already been tricked by Charlotte, so he would not allow anyone to do the same thing! As soon as he thought of this, Jim got out of the car.
“Alright, you can speak now.” Sadness surged through Bonnie’s heart as she watched Jim talking on the phone outside, leaving her locked in the car. She had overheard some snippets of his conversation. He was searching for the real Number-9. This meant that…he had already found out that Charlotte had been impersonating Number-9. Staring at Jim’s tall, slender figure through the window, Bonnie felt as though an invisible hand was squeezing her heart.
The person he had been looking for had been right next to him all this while! She was Number-9! All of a sudden, Jim turned around, frowning.
As he turned, he met Bonnie’s eager, nervous gaze with his frosty stare.
Bonnie pursed her lips and suddenly felt the urge to get out of the car to reach him.
Even if she did not tell him the truth right then and there, she still wanted to hear him talk about how they had met!
However, as soon as she moved, Jim realized what she was about to do, and he swiftly took out his car key and locked the car. No matter how hard she tried, Bonnie could not open the door. She lifted her head to glance in Jim’s direction.
He curled his lips into a smirk and turned around to resume his conversation.
Bonnie’s heart sank.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
