Chapter 2120
For a split second, Bonnie did not know how to answer.
Sean could not help sighing when he saw how lost she had looked.
“You shouldn’t blame yourself.
The person who harmed Nikki was that bastard, and it had nothing to do with you at
all.
“If anyone were to take responsibility for what happened, that person should be me.”
Sean placed his hand on his forehead, obscuring his entire face, and said in a hoarse voice,” Nikki had already told me about her impending attack when I left the house, but I hadn’t taken her seriously.
I thought she had just said that to stop me from coming to save you, but I should have believed her, or at least…
“I should’ve brought her with me when I came to help you.
That way, not only would she have been safe, but I would’ve been able to help you at the same time…
“It’s all my fault.
I should’ve been smarter about this, and if I had, Nikki wouldn’t have gotten hurt…”
His voice was beginning to sound choked, but Bonnie could not tell if he was crying.
However, she could recognize the immense responsibility on Sean’s shoulders.
He had not only blamed anyone for this incident, apart from the bastard who raped Nikki, but he even claimed that the person who should take responsibility for what happened was him.
Bonnie could not help but be reminded of Jim.
If…
If Sean’s mother and Jim’s mother were indeed the same people…this would make them half brothers.
However, how could these two people who shared the same blood differ so much in their personalities? Jim probably had not recalled that he had left Bonnie alone in the car, almost leading to her death.
As soon as she thought of this, Bonnie closed her eyes and heaved a deep sigh.
“I… There’s nothing much I can do for you and Nikki, but if you need help-either financially or in other aspects – during any point in time, I will do everything in my power to help you.”
“I will, too,” a clear, woman’s voice rang out from behind them.
Bonnie and Sean immediately turned around.
Her hand was still wrapped in bandages from the burns she suffered at Landry Mansion because of Charlotte.
A few meters behind her stood Luke, cold and aloof as ever.
He was wearing only a white shirt, and it was clear to whom the jacket draped over Gwen belonged to.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
