Chapter 2134
When he saw how much Sean treasured Bonnie as though she was some rare valuable , Jim’s expression darkened, and a hint of frustration surged through his heart.
He furrowed his brows and shot Sean a cold, disapproving glance.
“I wonder…what crime of mine are you going to expose to the world if I don’t stay away from Bonnie?” Sean narrowed his eyes and lifted his head to stare at Jim.
“How about the fact that you almost murdered someone?” As he said this, he glanced at Bonnie, whom he held gingerly in his arms, and said tenderly,” She kept calling for help while she was trapped in the car, and I know for a fact that I wasn’t the first person she called; you were.
“However, you never took notice of her calls for help at all, and by the time I reached her, she was barely holding on.
The doctor said that if I had arrived even a minute later, she wouldn’t have survived!”
He lifted his head to glare at Jim.
“I know you don’t love her, and no matter what she does, you think she’s doing it only to trick you into marrying her, but this is a human life we’re talking about, Mr. Landry.
“She gave birth to your son for you and had even gone through an abortion because of you.
“Even though Shelly isn’t her daughter, she still cared for her as though she were her own.
Not only that, but she didn’t even blame you for coming home with another woman’s child while you were dating.
“She loved you so much that she almost lost herself, and this is how you treat her?”
Sean’s arms tightened around Bonnie’s body protectively.
She quickly chased the thought away and could not help laughing at herself for being so foolish.
Sean was six years younger than her, so how could she date him?
Besides, according to the evidence she had, he was also possible Jim’s half-brother.
The thought of abandoning Jim only to date his brother instead was absurd.
As soon as she thought of this, Bonnie sniffed and slipped out of Sean’s arms.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
