Chapter 2147
“Bonnie…”
The stench of alcohol wafted into the house as the door swung open.
Jim staggered into the room, clearly intoxicated, and hobbled over to Bonnie’s side.
“I miss you.” He grinned at Bonnie, then laid against her limply.
Bonnie did not see this coming at all, and so she lost her grip on her glass, spilling water all over herself and Jim.
However, Jim continued to hug her tightly as though he could not feel the water seeping into his shirt at all.
“I haven’t seen you in such a long time… I miss you so much…” Bonnie furrowed his brows and pushed him away, then glanced at his inebriated face.
“How much did you drink?” The stench of alcohol wafting off his body overpowered her nose.
Jim giggled, then extended his index finger toward her.
“Just…just a little.” Then, he reached out and wrapped his arms around Bonnie once more and said with a hint of adoration in his voice, “I miss you so much…” No matter how hard she tried, Bonnie could not release herself from Jim’s grip.
Finally, she had no choice but to relent.
This was not the first time she had seen him drunk during their relationship, but this was probably the most intoxicated she had ever seen him.
She had to coax him for a long time before he finally allowed her to let go of him so that she could make him a bowl of hot soup.
Jim lay on the sofa and watched with glazed eyes as Bonnie busied herself in the kitchen.
“Bonnie…” he called softly.
“Yes?” Bonnie replied as she prepared the ingredients of her soup.
She immediately lifted her head to glance in Jim’s direction.
At this moment, he was lying on the sofa, staring at her with glassy eyes.
He looked conscious but somehow intoxicated too.
When he saw Bonnie staring at him, Jim curled his lips into a smile and said, “Christopher came to talk to me today…
“I finally found out that nothing had happened between you GTDQKAtm him at all…and that the baby you aborted was not his…but mine…”
Jim closed his eyes and continued bitterly, “Christopher said that…it was difficult for you to get pregnant, but despite that…you still chose to abort the baby because I had chosen Charlotte over you…”
He let out a bitter chuckle.
“My first thought was that you’re crazy; how could you have been pregnant with my child but refused to tell me? “However, on second thought, I knew that even if you had told me the truth, I wouldn’t have believed you anyway.”
Tears slid down Bonnie’s cheek upon hearing this.
She sniffed and replied, “It’s all in the past now.”
“No, it’s not.” Jim lifted his head to meet her gaze, smiling.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
