Chapter 2170
Jim’s brows furrowed as he looked at the phone Bonnie handed to him.
The screen showed a photo of Charlotte lying in a dungeon in Quinn Mansion. The dungeon used to be gloomy and damp, but in this photo, it seemed to have been decorated with a brighter light with a large bed, and there was even an aroma diffuser and recreational facilities in it.
The luxurious setting no longer made it look like a dungeon; it instead looked more like a place for a vacation.
Jim narrowed his eyes. To be able to request such treatment in the dungeon of the Quinn Mansion… That must have meant that Charlotte was a very important person to the Quinn family or, more specifically, Quentin.
He lifted his head and looked at Bonnie.
“They’re already on their way?”
“Yes,” Bonnie replied. She took her phone and walked toward the door.
“I know that Mr. Jim is a nostalgic person. If you don’t want to look for Charlotte with us, it’s fine.”
With that, Bonnie then took her red trench coat from the door and instantly wore it, opening the door to leave.
Looking at Bonnie’s slender and tall figure, Jim furrowed and immediately strode after her.
“I have no more feelings for Charlotte.”
Worried that Bonnie might misunderstand, Jim added, “My feelings for her originated because of Number-9. Since I know now that Charlotte isn’t Number-9, why would I have feelings for her?”
Bonnie paused for a while and curled her lips to a small smirk.
“Since you have such deep feelings for Number-9, how come you don’t even remember what her characteristics and temperament are?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
