“Could you be hiding Ms. Jacobs after all, Mr. Landry?” That assumption shifted the atmosphere in the living room to a standstill.
Jim squinted at Quentin, his fists clenched tightly.
After a while, Joshua took a sip of tea and piped in, “Mr. Landry is right. We won’t be here if we don’t have the evidence.”
He took a look at Quentin and added, “Do I need to show you the evidence where Charlotte was taken away by a car belonging to the Quentin family? I’m sure you’re well aware of the consequences it would have once I give this evidence to the police and when the media starts to publish it.”
Quentin narrowed his eyes, though there was a faint gleam of ferocity in his eyes after hearing what Joshua said. He had received much information about Joshua from Laura, but this was the first time that he dealt with him. Despite being arrogant and cold all the time, he did not expect Joshua to be well-organized and aggressive altogether when it came down to business.
He did not give the evidence straight away to the police but instead headed straight to the mansion, threatening Quentin to release Charlotte to them. Only when Quentin refused to give up Charlotte would Joshua hand over the evidence to the authorities.
This tactical skill, trying fair means before resorting to force, was brilliant. Even Granny Quinn could not find any excuse or flaw if the police were involved in the end.
Quentin squinted as he sized up Joshua meticulously, his gaze glinting with faint admiration. As expected from the family member of Lucy, Joshua was no doubt a capable and well organized young man.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....

Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
