Chapter 2209
“Who is this fiancee you’re talking about? It’s not me.”
“It is you.” Jim curled his lips into a smile as he used his uninjured arm to hold Bonnie close to him domineeringly.
“Since we’re on this topic, I want to announce that Bonnie and I will be having our wedding ceremony three days from now. I hope everyone can attend.”
This announcement had impacted Sean negatively, evident in the way his expression morphed into one of bitterness. It was plain to see how dejected his gaze seemed as he stared at Bonnie with a frown.
Bonnie pursed her lips while she tried to break from Jim’s arm, hissing, “What are you bullshitting about?”
“Well, I’m not even lying. Didn’t you agree to marry me before I lost my memory?” countered Jim.
This effectively stunned Bonnie, who was dazed as she gaped at Jim. She wanted to say something, but nothing came out in the end.
She had indeed discussed marriage with Jim before he lost his memory, but he did not believe her and even ignored her. What else could she say after he decided to announce the news to everyone? She would be lying if she denied it, but if she admitted it…
Feeling helpless, Bonnie could only keep quiet.
Pleased to see that Bonnie was not arguing, Jim laughed.
“Nonetheless, it was just a misunderstanding between me and Sean. Him and Bonnie were just pretending to be a couple; my fiancee was never in love with him.”
Jim then turned and sat on a chair. He lowered his head and played with his injured hand that had just been wrapped.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
