Chapter 2212
Jim’s voice faltered as he stared at the space in front of him, “She was alive all this while…”
His mother, Lucy, had been alive.
She had been living in the same city as he was all this while, but even until her death, she had never attempted to see him at all, much less reclaim him!
Jim’s body started to shake at the thought of this.
When he was a child, he thought Rosalyn was his mother, and because of this, he had always been content with his life.
However, after discovering that he was not Rosalyn and Charles’ son, he started secretly trying to track down his birth mother.
The reason he had agreed to help Harvey search for his birth mother was that he did not want Harvey to end up a motherless child like him. However, no matter how hard he tried, Jim could not find any trace of his mother’s true identity.
It was only after Rosalyn volunteered this information that he finally found out the truth.
Rosalyn had been honest with him about everything, including how jealous she had been of Lucy in the past.
That night, Jim had gotten himself drunk.
He thought he did not have a mother because Lucy died in an accident.
Until now…after watching the video that Lucy had recorded, Jim suddenly understood that his mother had not died after all, but she refused to reclaim and reunite with him!
A self-deprecating smile crept across Jim’s face at the thought of this, “It turns out I’m the biggest loser of all.”
Luna furrowed her brows when she heard this.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
